# Deep Hours > Protect focus time around a week of recurring meetings. Write your meetings in plain words (daily 9:30-9:45 > standup, Tue, Thu 2-3pm client calls), your working hours, a weekly focus target and the shortest block worth > having. The page finds every free stretch long enough to think (keeping ten minutes clear around meetings), fills the > target for free, draws the week as a timetable and exports the blocks as an .ics calendar file that repeats weekly. A > metered run chooses the stretches, names the blocks after what the focus is for and, when the week cannot hold the > target, says which once-a-week meeting would be worth moving. Built on the SkillSafe skill > @googleworkspace/recipe-block-focus-time. https://deep-hours.skillsafe.ai/ ## What is free - Reading meeting lines: days (Mon, Tue-Thu, Mon & Wed, M/W/F, TTh, daily, weekdays), one time range (9:30-10, 2-3pm, 14:00-15:30, noon-1pm) and a name; up to 30 lines. - The free stretches of at least the shortest block (60, 90 or 120 minutes) inside the working hours, Mon-Fri, Sun-Thu or Mon-Sat. - The free fill: blocks on the quarter hour, 60 to 180 minutes, mornings, afternoons or longest stretches first, one day at a time. - The week timetable (PNG, SVG) and the calendar file (.ics, weekly repeating events in floating local time). - One link per block that opens Google Calendar's own event form with the weekly block filled in (for phones, where there is no file import). Deep Hours is independent and not affiliated with Google. - Three samples replay their saved plans at no cost. ## The metered task One task, `focus`, on gpt-terra, metered per run. Input string fields: `task`, `goal`, `target_hours`, `min_block`, `prefer`, `workdays`, `hours`, `meetings` (one line each, `m1.` ...), `gaps` (one line per free stretch, `g1.` ...), `free_total` and `move_options`. The reply is one JSON object: `verdict` (`met` or `short`), `blocks` (each `gap`, `start`, `end`, `title`, `why`), `move` (each `meeting`, `why`), `status_line` and `note`. The page keeps only blocks that sit inside a stretch it sent, on the quarter hour, between the shortest block and three hours long, one per stretch, and checks the verdict against the blocks' own total. ## Links - API tutorial: https://deep-hours.skillsafe.ai/api.html - Source skill: https://skillsafe.ai/skill/@googleworkspace/recipe-block-focus-time
